We received a call from our client in Keymar, Md about his half acre farm pond that he wanted cleaned. He asked us to remove all the cattails from his pond as they were getting out of control.
The best way to remove cattails is by pulling them from under their roots. We advise against chemicals as they will harm the ecosystem of the pond. We removed the floating cattails with a tractor and dumped them on to the farm for fertilizer.
